Abstract:

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Waterways Conservation Officer Districts

Purpose:

Allows for mapping related to each District

Supplemental_Information:

The data set was created using the PennDOT municipalities GIS layers & TeleAtlas North America Roads GIS layers as District boundaries follow these features.  Polygons from the municipalities layers were merged to create the Districts and then modified using the roads layers where appropriate.  Roads were incorporated by using the Trace Sketch Tool in ArcMap.

None provided credit is given to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) as long as the data is in its original unaltered state.  If modifications are made to the data set, users are obligated to describe the types of modifications they have made.  Users are not to misrepresent PFBC data sets, nor to imply that changes they (users) have made were approved by the PFBC.
